Voidspace Dispatches: February 2026 - Strange Play, farewells, and a taste of the Weird

Things are hotting up this month, at Void Towers and beyond.

We are thrilled to announce that the Voidspace will be hosting not one but TWO official side events for London Games Week - thank you Games London!

First up is Strange Play: Open Mic, (Monday 13 April) a quick fire open mic style evening of play and weird stuff. (pre-booking needed BCS of tech, so not ACTUALLY an open mic but close…)

Next is Strange Play: Showcase, (18-19 April) a WHOLE FLOOR of Theatre Deli to show weird little games from students, recent grads and independent artists. It's a whole new adventure for us and we are super stoked.

This means we have NOT ONE but TWO (again!) open calls out: for Strange Play (closing Sunday 15 Feb - tomorrow!) and Voidspace Live (closing 28 Feb). Get your ideas to us now!

Listings wise, the most exciting thing this month is the HUGE amount of new interactive work at next week's London Lovecraft Festival, the London Lovecraft Society's annual celebration of Weird theatre. A Song for The Vanished (Thurs 19 Feb) is our top pick - an adaptation of a Lovecraft story about the insanity-making power of music, brought to life as a shard-bright ritual for the internet age. Use code VOIDFRIEND at checkout for 25% off.

We are also looking forward to Phantom Peak: The Great Undoing - the sharp and funny and warm and fuzzy last show before they move to their new venue. So many happy memories (sniff!)

Until next time. The Void loves you!
